Decks
Building a deck is a wonderful extension of your living space. You can lounge on your deck with family and friends while eating a meal or soaking in the sun. The addition of a pergola or other covering completes a deck, making it a space to enjoy rain or shine.

"Nick and Austin are pros. They helped us build a deck and patio roof on the back of our home in SE. They spend the time to get things right, frequently check in to make sure everyone's on the same page, offer good design ideas, and they take pride in what they do - which means they spend time on the details, even when working on a fixed fee. As just one example, they sent a bunch of materials back to the yard that had arrived with scratches - the materials were apparently good enough for the lumber yard, but not for Nick and Austin, which we appreciated.
On time, done right, efficiently priced. Hard to beat."

5 Tips When Building A Deck
- Quality Construction
Follow building codes and current industry standards when building a deck. - Materials
Use pressure treated lumber when framing the deck. Attach beams, posts and framing with simpson brackets. If installing composite decking, follow manufactures specifications for attaching decking. - Climate
Composite deck boards will last the longest in our climate. If installing wood deck boards monitor the wood to see if needs to be resealed. - How Will You Use It
If you want to enjoy your deck anytime of the year consider putting a roof over it. This will not only keep you dry, but it will also make your deck last longer. - After Construction Care Considerations
Keep soil away from any deck footings or deck framing. Monitor wood decking for wear and rot. Plan to seal a wood deck every 2-3 years.
